Fresh Peach Tart

YIELD: 8 servings

Ingredients:

•	Single crust Classic Crisco Pie Crust
•	8 tablespoons Smucker's® Peach Preserves, divided
•	5 to 6 tablespoons Pillsbury BEST® All Purpose Flour
•	6 1/2 cups (6 to 8) peeled, sliced large fresh peaches, divided
•	1 teaspoon hot water
•	1 pint vanilla ice cream

Directions:

1	PREPARE single pie crust according to recipe directions, using a 9-inch pie plate; do not bake. Spread 3 tablespoons peach preserves over pie shell bottom and sides.
2	MIX flour with 4 1/2 cups sliced peaches in medium bowl. Arrange peach slices in pie shell, slightly overlapping the slices.
3	ARRANGE remaining 2 cups peach slices on top of floured slices.
4	MIX 2 tablespoons peach preserves and hot water in small bowl. Brush on top of peach slices, making sure all slices are coated.
5	BAKE at 450ºF 10 minutes. Reduce heat to 375ºF; bake an additional 35 to 40 minutes or until peaches are tender and pastry is light brown. Place tart on wire rack.
6	HEAT remaining 3 tablespoons peach preserves in small saucepan over moderate heat until bubbly. Brush over peaches thoroughly. Cool tart completely.
7	SERVE with vanilla ice cream.
