Hot Apple Butterscotch Crepes

Preparation time: 10 minutes

Ingredients:
  • 1 (5 ounce) package ready-made French crepes, 9-inch
  • 1 (20.5 ounce) can apple pie filling
  • 1 (12 ounce) jar SMUCKER'SŪ Butterscotch Ice Cream Topping, heated according to package directions
  • Whipped cream
  • 1/2 cup toasted chopped pecans*

Directions:

  1. Warm apple pie filling in a microwave-safe bowl on HIGH (100 percent power) for 2 minutes.
  2. Place 8 crepes on a plate and cover with plastic wrap; microwave on HIGH 1 minute.
  3. Place crepe golden brown side down on individual serving plates.
  4. Spoon the filling down the center of each crepe, dividing the filling evenly.
  5. Fold one side over, covering most of the filling. Fold over the opposite side, overlapping the first fold.
  6. Drizzle 2 tablespoons butterscotch topping over each filled crepe, dollop with whipped cream and sprinkle with chopped pecans. Serve warm.

* To toast nuts: Toast the pecans in a dry non-stick skillet, cook over medium heat until lightly browned.
