Sharp Cheddar with Maple Walnut Conserve
- 1/2 cup dried apple halves, diced
- 1 (5 oz.) jar Smucker's® Walnuts in Syrup chopped
- 1/4 cup breakfast syrup
- 2 tablespoons Water
- 1/8 teaspoon Salt
- 6 fresh sage leaves bruised, plus additional small leaves for garnish
- 1 1/2 pounds sharp white cheddar cheese thinly sliced

COOK dried apples, chopped nuts with syrup, original syrup, water, salt and bruised sage leaves in small saucepan over medium heat, tirring occasionally, until apples are plump. Remove sage leaves. Cool mixture to room temperature.
- Step 2
PLACE three slices of cheese across each appetizer plate. Spoon about two teaspoons conserve over cheese slices. Garnish outside of plate with chopped walnuts and sage leaves.
