Slow-Cooked Cherry Cola Pulled Pork Sliders

Ingredients

  • 1 (3 1/2 to 4 lb.) boneless pork butt, quartered
  • 1 (12 oz.) can cola beverage (not diet)
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 2 teaspoons minced garlic
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 (12 oz.) jar Smucker's® Cherry Preserves
  • 1 (16 oz.) bottle barbecue sauce
  • 24 white slider buns, split

Directions

  • Step 1

    PLACE pork in slow cooker. Add cola, onion and garlic. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.

  • Step 2

    COVER and cook on LOW for 8 to 9 hours or until pork is very tender.

  • Step 3

    REMOVE pork from slow cooker. Shred into thin strips using two forks.

  • Step 4

    STIR preserves and barbecue sauce into meat juices until blended. Stir in shredded pork until coated. Sauce will thicken during standing. Serve on slider buns.
