Ingredients

  • Non-stick cooking spray
  • CRUST
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 3/4 cup shortening
  • 4 to 8 tablespoons ice cold water
  • PIE
  • 2/3 cup Smucker's® Natural Tart Cherry Fruit Spread
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch
  • 3 tablespoons Powdered sugar
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons Milk

Directions

  • Step 1

STIR flour and salt in large bowl until blended. Cut shortening into flour mixture using pastry blender or fork until shortening pieces are the size of peas. Gradually add just enough water, 1 tablespoon at a time, stirring with fork just until dough holds together and forms a smooth ball. Flatten into disk and wrap in plastic wrap. Chill 30 minutes or up to 2 days.

  • Step 2

HEAT oven to 400°F. Coat baking sheet with no-stick cooking spray.

  • Step 3

ROLL dough, on floured surface, into one thick 10-inch circle. Stir fruit spread and cornstarch in small bowl until smooth. Spread on one-half of the dough, to within about 1-inch from the edge. Fold in half to cover filling. Press edges together. Flute edges or press with a fork to seal.

  • Step 4

BAKE 20 to 25 minutes or until top is light golden brown. Cool 15 minutes. Stir powdered sugar and milk in small bowl until blended. Spread over entire surface of pie. Cool 15 minutes or until glaze hardens.
