Ingredients

  • CRUST
  • 3/4 cup butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • FILLING
  • 2 (8 oz.) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 1/2 cup almond brickle chips
  • 1/4 cup Smucker's® Caramel Flavored Topping
  • OR 1/4 cup Smucker's® Hot Caramel Flavored Topping

Directions

    HEAT oven to 350°F. Mix butter, sugar and vanilla with electric mixer on medium speed until light and fluffy. Gradually add flour, mixing on low speed until blended. Press onto bottom of a 9 x 13-inch baking pan.

    BAKE 20 to 23 minutes until lightly browned.

  • Step 5

    MIX cream cheese, sugar and vanilla with electric mixer on medium speed until well blended. Add eggs; mix well. Stir in brickle chips. Pour over crust. Drop teaspoonfuls of caramel topping over cream cheese mixture. Gently run a knife through the batter to swirl the caramel topping.

  • Step 6

    BAKE 30 minutes. Cool in pan on wire rack. Refrigerate. Cut into bars.
