Fruity Baked Brie

  • 1 sheet frozen puff pastry (from 17.3 oz. box)
  • 1 (8 oz.) round wheel brie cheese
  • 1/4 cup Smucker’s® Mosaics™ Fruit Spread, any variety
  • 1/4 cup sliced almonds
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • Assorted crackers
  • Pear and apple slices


  1. THAW pastry according to package instructions.
  2. HEAT oven to 400°F. Unfold pastry on lightly floured surface. Roll gently to seal any cracks in pastry.
  3. SPLIT cheese in half horizontally to make 2 layers. Spread preserves on cut side of bottom half of cheese. Sprinkle with almonds. Cover with top half of cheese, cut side down. Place on center of pastry.
  4. FOLD pastry up and over cheese to cover completely. Trim excess pastry. Press seams firmly to seal. Reserve pastry scraps.
  5. WHISK egg and water in small bowl. Brush seam side with egg mixture. Place seam-side down on baking sheet. Brush surface with egg mixture. Cut pastry scraps into decorative shapes and arrange on top surface. Press to seal. Brush with egg mixture.
  6. BAKE 25 minutes or until golden brown. Let stand 20 minutes before cutting. Serve with crackers and fruit.
