Chewy Red Raspberry Oat Bars

Ingredients

  • Crisco® Original No-Stick Cooking Spray
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup Pillsbury BEST™ All Purpose Flour
  • 1 cup quick-cooking rolled oats
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 cup Smucker's® Red Raspberry Preserves

Directions

  1. HEAT oven to 350°. Coat 8-inch square baking pan with no-stick cooking spray.
  2. BEAT butter and brown sugar in medium bowl with mixer on medium speed until fluffy. Blend in vanilla extract.
  3. MIX in flour, oats and baking powder in medium bowl until blended. Reserve 1/2 cup for topping. Press remaining mixture firmly into bottom of prepared pan to form a crust. Spoon preserves over crust, gently spreading over crust. Sprinkle with reserved topping.
  4. BAKE 25 to 30 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool completely on wire rack. Cut into bars.
