Chocolate Mint Donut Ice Cream Sandwich

  • 12 snack-size frosted chocolate donuts
  • 1 (7.25 oz.) bottle Smucker's® Magic Shell® Chocolate Mint Cookie Crunch Flavored Topping
  • Decorator sprinkles
  • Mint chocolate chip ice cream


  1. COVER 2 baking sheets with wax paper. Cut donuts in half horizontally. Place 6 on each prepared baking sheet, cut side up, keeping pairs together. Freeze for 10 minutes.
  2. SHAKE topping according to package directions. Pour topping into small bowl. Place toothpick in cut side of donut. Dip donut into topping coating all sides. Allow excess topping to drip off. Place cut side down on baking pan. Sprinkle with decorator sprinkles. Repeat to coat all donuts. Freeze 10 minutes.
  3. TURN donut bottoms from first batch cut side up. Place heaping tablespoon ice cream on each donut bottom. Cover with top of donut, pressing gently to form ice cream sandwich. Repeat with remaining donuts. Freeze 30 minutes.
