PB&J Stuffed French Toast

  • 1/4 to 1/2 cups Jif® Creamy Peanut Butter
  • 1 (12 oz.) jar Smucker's® Seedless Strawberry Jam
  • 8 slices white bread
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup butter, diced, divided
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Powdered sugar


  1. SPREAD desired amount of peanut butter and jam on bread slices to make 4 PB&J sandwiches.
  2. WHISK eggs, milk and vanilla in shallow bowl until blended.
  3. MELT 1 tablespoon butter in large nonstick skillet over medium heat. Dip each side of sandwiches in egg mixture, allowing each side to soak for about 5 seconds. Place in hot skillet. Cook about 2 minutes per side or until golden brown, adding additional butter to skillet as needed.
  4. MICROWAVE remaining jam in medium microwave-safe bowl on HIGH 1 minute or until melted and syrupy when stirred.
  5. SPRINKLE French toast with powdered sugar. Serve with syrup mixture.
