Strawberry Sweet Potatoes with Pecan Streusel

  • Crisco® Original No-Stick Cooking Spray
  • 2 (13 oz.) cans whole sweet potatoes
  • 1 cup Smucker's® Strawberry Syrup
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup Pillsbury BEST™ All Purpose Flour
  • 1/2 cup quick rolled oats
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 5 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans


  1. HEAT oven to 350°F. Coat a 1 1/2 quart casserole dish with no-stick cooking spray.
  2. MASH sweet potatoes with fork. Stir in fruit syrup and salt. Place in prepared casserole dish.
  3. COMBINE brown sugar, flour, oats and cinnamon. Mix in butter until moistened. Stir in pecans. Sprinkle over top of sweet potatoes.
  4. BAKE 25 to 30 minutes or until heated through.
  5. Two cups cooked, mashed, fresh sweet potatoes can be substituted for canned.
