Banana Split Trifle

  • 1 1/2 cups cold milk
  • 1 (4 serving-size) package vanilla flavored instant pudding mix
  • 1 (8 oz.) can crushed pineapple, drained
  • 1 (8 oz.) container frozen whipped topping, thawed, divided
  • 1 (10.75 oz.) pound cake, thawed, cut into cubes, divided
  • 1 (12 oz.) jar Smucker's® Hot Fudge Topping
  • 1 cup sliced strawberries
  • 2 bananas, sliced
  • 1/4 cup chopped nuts
  • Maraschino cherries, for garnish


  1. WHISK milk and pudding mix in large bowl 2 minutes. Stir in pineapple. Fold in half of whipped topping. Place half of cake cubes in bottom of trifle dish or 3-qt. glass bowl. Spread half of pudding mixture over top.
  2. HEAT hot fudge topping according to label instructions. Spoon over pudding layer. Top with remaining cake cubes.
  3. SPREAD remaining pudding mixture on cake cubes. Top with strawberries and bananas. Spread remaining whipped topping over fruit. Sprinkle with nuts and garnish with cherries. Chill until ready to serve.
