Honey-Glazed Carrots

  • 1 pound carrots, peeled and diagonally sliced
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 2 tablespoons Smucker’s® Beekeeper’s Promise™ Honey, any variety
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons soy sauce
  • Snipped chives, sliced green onion or dillweed, for garnish


  1. COMBINE carrots and salt in medium saucepan. Add just enough water to cover carrots. Cover and bring to a boil over high heat. Reduce heat to low and simmer 5 minutes. Drain.
  2. MELT butter in large skillet over medium heat. Stir in soy sauce. Add carrots and cook over medium-high heat 2 to 3 minutes or until lightly browned, stirring frequently.
  3. ADD honey to skillet, stirring carrots to coat. Cook 2 minutes, stirring frequently, until glaze coats carrots. Garnish as desired.
